Vermont Pressed Steel Toy Collection
Steelcraft, a division of Murray Ohio Manufacturing, produced high-quality pressed steel toys, including pedal cars, airplanes, and trucks, from the 1920s to the 1950s. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Steelcraft became known for detailed, durable designs modeled after real vehicles. During WWII, production shifted to wartime goods. Post-war, competition increased, leading to the brand’s decline.
